Zelenskyy and 'Churchill phenomenon'

The Guardian article says that, according to one informed source, President Zelensky is experiencing a 'Churchill phenomenon' - he is frightened by the election defeat of a successful military leader.

I wonder who from the President's Office gave them a comment?

“But in any case, this is the case. And it is not clear why he is afraid of a possible defeat in the elections after the war. He himself initially said that he was running for one term, and recently added that he had no plans to run for re-election after the war.”

Or was he not completely sincere? Well, it happens…
