Why Musk says Putin can't lose: diplomat explains
Diplomat and international expert Ruslan Osypenko believes that Elon Musk is making such statements because he doesn't see a plan to defeat Russia
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Elon Musk insists on the concept that there is no victory scenario. Why does Musk speak in this way? He does not see the political elites developing a plan to defeat Russia. And since there is no plan for victory, Musk realizes that they will negotiate. That's why he writes so boldly that Russia will not lose in any case, knowing that somewhere out there this decision is already being prepared," Osypenko explained.
According to the diplomat, an analysis of open sources shows that the West is already pushing both Russia and Ukraine to reach an agreement.
"Because Ukraine's aid is delayed, and Russia is actively cutting off oxygen to its profits. In December, Biden personally signed several executive orders to tighten control over oil trade and the financial sector. That is, to restrict financial transactions with Russian companies under sanctions. This means that they are reducing the potential of both Russia and Ukraine to continue the war. That is, they will push us to sit down at the negotiating table," Osypenko emphasized.
