What will happen to Ukraine if Trump wins US elections: Ukraine's top official explains
National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov predicts whether support for Ukraine in the war against Russia will decrease if Donald Trump becomes US president
Danilov said this in an interview with Babel.
According to the NSDC Secretary, the United States will not give up its support for Ukraine, and Europe is no longer the same as it was before February 24, 2022.
"Keep in mind that the number of NATO members has increased in Europe. When Putin said that he did not want representatives of NATO countries on his borders, he got Finland and Sweden in return, and he will definitely get our country," Danilov said.
"There will be no tragedy for Ukraine no matter who is president in the United States. It is a humiliation for all of us when we come to the conclusion that depending on who is president in America, the state will exist or not. We have already proved to the whole world that we deserve to have our own state," he added.
- Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said that he could force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign a peace deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin within 24 hours of his return to the White House.
