Ukrainian diaspora in the United States has taught Bush Senior lesson for Chicken Kiev. And what about Trump?
I haven't noticed any Ukrainian organizations in the US gathering at the Capitol to demand that aid to Ukraine be unblocked
The US is said to have a large Ukrainian diaspora. There are organizations of Ukrainians in the US whose leaders regularly receive high state awards on Ukraine's Independence Day.
“However, I have not seen any Ukrainian organizations in the United States gathering at the Capitol to demand that aid to Ukraine be unblocked. Where are the TV appearances? Where are the publications in the press?”
Just as I have not read anywhere that there was a public appeal to Trump to publicly urge Americans of Ukrainian ethnic origin not to vote for Trump and Republican candidates for Congress in the next election if the aid is further blocked.
In his time, the Ukrainian diaspora taught Bush Senior a lesson for the Chicken Kiev he shamefully performed in July 1991. And he lost the next election to Clinton.
And this diaspora of thirty years ago was not weak.
And no one handed them the Order of Ukraine every year either.
