The prestigious MTV Video Music Awards have announced this year's nominees. American pop singer Taylor Swift leads with the most nominations, earning nods in ten categories.
Rapper Post Malone follows with nine nominations, eight in collaboration with Swift, and one for his hit I Had Some Help, featuring Morgan Wallen. Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Sabrina Carpenter each received six nominations. Megan Thee Stallion and SZA have five nominations each, while LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims each garnered four.
Among the nominees is Ukrainian cameraman Nikita Kuzmenko, who shot Dua Lipa's Illusion music video, directed by Ukrainian star music video director Tanu Muiño. Kuzmenko will compete in the Best Cinematography category against Russian Anatol Trofimov, who filmed Ariana Grande's We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).
