More air defense system heading to Ukraine, says Iris-T manufacturer
Diehl Defense's executive director, Helmut Rauch, announced on April 18 the upcoming supply of an additional Iris-T air defense system to Ukraine during his visit to Kyiv

Rauch, along with German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, arrived in Kyiv today, signaling Germany's commitment to providing long-term support to Ukraine.
"Should Putin's war in Ukraine succeed, it will likely continue. It's crucial for our security and peace in Europe that Ukraine defends itself successfully, and we must aid in that effort," stated Vice Chancellor Habeck.
Rauch confirmed the transfer of another Iris-T system to Ukraine, saying, "We already have three systems in Ukraine, and more will be delivered this year. The next one will arrive in just a few weeks."
The German delegation plans to hold meetings with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, and Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko during their visit.
