West must stop genocide of Ukrainians by providing missiles that can reach Russian cities - Piontkovsky
The West must stop the genocide of Ukrainians and inform Russian President Vladimir Putin what will happen to him if attacks on critical infrastructure continue.
Political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky said this on the air of the Studio West with Antin Borkovskyi program on Espreso TV.
“Now on the agenda is a response and a warning about what will happen to Putin if he continues attacks on infrastructure. Paradoxically, this episode with the fall of the missile in Poland slowed down the reaction. All the thoughts of the international community focused on this incident, and conversations began about the Caribbean crisis, "Lusitania", etc. And the problem is actually very simple: Putin is committing terrible crimes in front of the eyes of the whole world,” the political scientist said.
In his opinion, the collective West should tell him that it is not good to do so and state what kind of punishment awaits him for this.
“The simplest response is ATACMS and SCALP missiles, which can hit Moscow, Voronezh, Rostov, and Krasnodar with similar strikes. Not to hit these cities, but to prevent the Russians from hitting Ukrainian ones. The West must stop the genocide of the Ukrainian people, regardless of whether China joins in solving this humanitarian problem, although it would be very good. This is the question we need to raise before our Western allies, and not argue with them about which missile fell in Poland,” Piontkovsky concluded.
