Weak Russia broke the anti-democratic pact
The anniversary of the expulsion of Russian occupiers from the Kyiv region is an event of universal importance
The anniversary of the expulsion of the Russian occupiers from the Kyiv region is an event of universal importance, but it has become clear now that enough time has passed and enough events have taken place in the world.
The liberation of the Kyiv region is the final stage of the "Kyiv in Three Days Plan," on which the very idea of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was based. And, obviously, this plan was the basis for the idea of further geopolitical achievements of the Kremlin. Let's recall the ultimatums of the bunker old man before the start of a full-scale war. There, he claimed the inheritance of the entire Warsaw Pact, and apparently had serious plans to realize these ambitions. For example, by mobilizing all Ukrainians (like the "DPR") and sending them to attack NATO's borders with "barrage troops" behind them. When you realize how crazy they are in the Kremlin, you realize how realistic such plans are.
“China, which now remains almost the only serious partner of Russia, also seems to have serious plans for Taiwan, but is in no hurry to implement them. This is probably also because it has been seen from Russia's aggression in Ukraine that: 1) their main "ally" in confronting the West is weak; 2) this "ally" will not only not help in a critical situation, but will also require help with various resources”
But they were done. And this obviously had consequences far beyond Ukraine. For example, China, which now remains almost the only serious partner of Russia, also seems to have serious plans for Taiwan, but is in no hurry to implement them. This is probably also because it has been seen from Russia's aggression in Ukraine that: 1) their main "ally" in confronting the West is weak; 2) this "ally" will not only not help in a critical situation, but will also require help with various resources. All of this could not but affect China's plans, which will obviously be thoroughly revised in light of other countries' experiences.
All in all, a year and a half ago, a rather serious "axis of evil" was emerging, with Russia and China at the center, and they could well have united a number of partners around them. Isn't this a new "Anti-Democratic Pact"? But one part of this "pact" was not very strong.
“Xi's visit to Moscow showed that China's plans are now transforming, and yesterday's "key ally" is becoming a "junior partner" or "satellite"
Xi's visit to Moscow showed that China's plans are now transforming, and yesterday's "key ally" is becoming a "junior partner" or "satellite." It is still needed and useful, but no longer as a force, but purely as a source of resources. They can no longer claim to be more than that.
Accordingly, China is likely to address foreign policy issues differently than it had planned yesterday. Without Russia playing a special role. Will they dare to undertake independent geopolitical adventures in such circumstances? The question is complicated, but it seems that all this will definitely shift in time.
