We do not believe in any beautiful verbal constructions: neither about peace agreements, nor about the withdrawal of troops - Zelensky

Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about this in a traditional evening appeal, Espreso.TV informs.

"Now is a turning point, when you need to talk only about the most important things. Negotiations are ongoing, but so far these are just words – without specifics. We know that this is not a withdrawal, but the consequences of expulsion, the consequences of the work of our defenders", the president said.

But we see that at this time there is an accumulation of Russian troops for new strikes in the Donbas, and we are ready for this.

"We do not believe in any beautiful verbal constructions. There is a real situation on the battlefield and now this is the most important thing. We will not give up anything and will fight for every meter of our land for each of our people. In such a situation, in which our state is, there should not be such discussions that society and our politicians are used to have in peacetime. If someone pretends that he can teach our Armed Forces of Ukraine how to fight and how to resist the invader, then the best way to do this is to go to the battlefield", Volodymyr Zelensky added.
