"The situation in the Avdiivka direction has not changed. Over the past day, the Russian forces shelled our positions with cluster shells. However, only the name of the shells can change for that area. The Russian troops are using cluster shells on our positions, attacking our positions with aircraft and shelling them with rockets," Firsov said.

The Territorial Defense Forces fighter also added that Ukraine's Armed Forces have certain tactical advances in the Avdiivka direction.

"The situation is unchanged. The Russian enemy is constantly shelling our positions. However, even in this direction there are certain advances of our army. Of course, these advances are tactical. Our military is holding the defense reliably. Not that there is no need to worry about these cities, but I want to emphasize that we are not only defending, but also advancing in the Avdiivka direction," he added.
