Vilnius meeting seeks grain crisis resolution — Ukrainian MP Kniazhytskyi
Ukrainian delegation in Lithuania discusses ways to resolve the "grain crisis" between Ukraine and Poland, including transportation of Ukrainian grain through Poland to various world markets
Lithuania is interested in supporting Ukraine, said Mykola Kniazhytskyi, a member of the group for interparliamentary relations between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania, following meetings with President Gitanas Nausėda and Speaker of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen.
According to him, Lithuania is interested in the safe transit of Ukrainian grain.
"This is beneficial for the country both economically, as Ukrainian grain will be transited through the Baltic ports, and politically, as Lithuania is interested in supporting Ukraine until we win," said Mykola Kniazhytskyi.
The MP also announced the continuation of meetings to resolve the conflict, "We will continue these conversations at the conferences within the Lublin Triangle in a week. I hope and believe that we will continue this conversation and jointly find an effective mechanism."
