The US president commented on the possibility of supplying German Leopard tanks to Ukraine, assuring that the country will receive everything it needs to fight the Russian invasion

Joe Biden made the statement following the speech at the White House on the occasion of the winter meeting of US mayors, CNN reports.

"Ukraine is going to get all the help they need," Biden said when asked by a reporter whether he supported Poland's intention to provide Ukraine with German-manufactured tanks.

The US president made the statement following the 8th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format, which failed to get Germany’s consent to supply Ukraine with Leopard tanks from other countries.
