According to the Kyiv24 Telegram channel, he said, “Putin did not achieve his goal of plunging Ukraine into darkness.”
Nahorniak explained that Ukraine endured today’s massive attack with minimal impact on the energy sector, which avoided any critical damage.
“Yes, regions like Odesa, Lviv, Rivne, and Volyn were partially affected. But I believe the power sector will be back up and running within two to three days, and life will return to normal,” he added.
The MP said the greatest loss from the Russian attack was the deaths of people.
"The main tragedy of today's attack is the loss of civilian lives in Dnipropetrovsk and other regions. We’ll rebuild the infrastructure and restore power," he said.
- On Sunday morning, November 17, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine. Strategic bombers took flight, and cruise and ballistic missile launches were detected. Energy infrastructure was a primary target.
