Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has stated that the coming weeks will be crucial not only for the war in Ukraine “but also for our future”

“No one will stop Putin with phone calls. The attack last night, one of the biggest in this war, has proved that telephone diplomacy cannot replace real support from the whole West for Ukraine,” the Polish prime minister emphasized, commenting on the effectiveness of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The next weeks will be decisive, not only for the war itself but also for our future,” Donald Tusk concluded.

- On Friday, November 15, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russian leader Vladimir Putin held their first phone call in nearly two years. According to the German government press service, during the conversation, Scholz condemned Russia's aggression against Ukraine and urged Putin to end the fighting and withdraw Russian troops.
