US discusses with Poland the possibility of transferring fighter jets to Ukraine

This was announced by the representative of the White House to CNN.

Even earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insisted that Eastern European countries send fighter jets to Ukraine. As part of the talks, the US is determining what opportunities it could provide for Poland if it decides to overturn the planes.

The publication emphasizes that sending fighter jets to Ukraine is a sovereign decision that any country must take.

"A lot of logistical issues need to be worked out, including how the planes will be turned over from Poland to Ukraine", the White House spokesman said.

• Remember, on February 28, the Ukrainian side reported that the pilots arrived in Poland to receive military aircraft from partners from the EU. The Ukrainian Parliament reported that Europe sent a total of 70 fighters to Kyiv, including 28 MiG-29s from Poland, 12 from Slovakia, and 16 from Bulgaria, as well as 14 Su-25s from Bulgaria.  However, the governments of several European countries later denied this possibility.
