Ukrainian Railways starts selling symbolic tickets to Sevastopol

This is reported by Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia).

“Given the 2,500 tickets sold and the extraordinary interest of Ukrainians in the “Tickets to Victory” project, which Ukrzaliznytsia launched together with the UNITED24 platform, we decided that we simply do not have the right to limit ourselves to five cities for which train tickets are already on sale. Therefore today we open the sale of symbolic tickets for the first trip to Sevastopol,” the message reads.

These tickets can be used immediately after de-occupation. As soon as traffic is restored, Ukrzaliznytsia will send letters to all benefactors with information about all the details of the selected route.

Transportation will be carried out by the legendary "Train to Victory", the painted cars of which are dedicated to the feats of people in the temporarily occupied territories. You can buy a symbolic ticket here.

All tickets are charitable: funds from their sale will be transferred through the UNITED24 platform for the purchase of last-mile transport — cars that will help connect cities and towns in the de-occupied territories with the nearest railway junctions.
