Ukrainian pyrotechnicians destroy more than 288,000 explosive objects since February 24

Oleksandr Khorunzhy, press officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, reported this at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, our pyrotechnicians have been involved 36,000 times, more than 288,000 explosive devices have been neutralized, of which 2,154 are aerial bombs," Khorunzhy said. The press officer also informed that the total territory examined by the State Emergency Service for explosive objects reaches more than 75,000 hectares. Currently, Ukraine has about 175,000 square kilometers of potentially dangerous areas.

"It will take tens of years. Shells from the First and Second World Wars are still being found on the territory of Ukraine. Imagine the scale," the message says.
