A charity concert by Ukrainian musician and multi-instrumentalist Oleh Skrypka was scheduled for June 25 in Zurich to help Ukrainian hospitals. However, due to Russian propaganda in Switzerland, the performance was canceled.

"Kremlin propaganda works abroad using Goebbels’ methods: the more brutal the lie, the more people believe it. I am being accused of adhering to an ultranationalist ideology, which is absolutely untrue," said Skrypka.

He said that the Swiss media spread lies about him.

"Therefore, without checking the facts, foreign media spread this disinformation, which leads to the cancellation of the concert in Zurich, Switzerland," the artist explained.

Oleh Skrypka emphasized that their concerts serve a broader purpose beyond supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The musicians aim to showcase Ukraine as a unique country with its own rich traditions and culture. Moreover, they seek to raise awareness in the global community about Ukraine's ongoing struggle against a brutal aggressor, Russia, which continues to launch missiles at peaceful cities.

"Each of our concerts is intended to unite Ukrainians and Europeans abroad who support our country in the most difficult times," the artist emphasized.

He noted that at the concerts in Brussels, at the entrance to the European Parliament, and in Lugano as part of an international conference on Ukraine's recovery, the musicians raised more than EUR 1 million in aid for Ukraine.

"We appeal to all state institutions, media, and friends living in other countries: let's fight for our values, for our independence on all fronts," Skrypka called.
