Ukrainian Defense Forces work to block Russian arms shipments through Crimean bridge

Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk said this on Espreso TV. 

“Everything that is happening around the Crimean bridge does not help the enemy's logistics, because we are ensuring maximum power of our available forces and means aimed at destroying logistics and logistics routes. Everything that has already been brought in comes under our fire control. What they are trying to bring in should be stuck on the routes. This is what we are working on,” she emphasized.

According to Natalia Humeniuk, Ukraine has deployed all its capabilities, including the Special Operations Forces and “hidden forces that the enemy is so afraid of.”

• On October 8, an explosion and fire broke out on the Crimean bridge, the occupation authorities reported three dead and accused Ukraine of the explosion.

• Vladimir Putin assigned the FSB the responsibility for protecting the Crimean bridge.

• On October 9, the Institute for the Study of War concluded that the explosion on the Crimean bridge had only partially disrupted Russia's logistics with the occupied peninsula, but the attack had caused significant image losses for the Kremlin.

• The head of the Ukrainian Security Service, Vasyl Maliuk, said that 22 Russians have been detained in the course of the investigation into the explosion on the Crimean bridge in Russia, and they are being tortured and subjected to polygraph examinations.

• On January 4, OSINT analyst Brady Efric published a new photo of the bridge that Russians illegally built across the Kerch Strait. The photos show that the aftermath of the explosion is still being cleaned up.
