Ukraine's government prepares draft law to allow Bayraktar drone production in Ukraine

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"Among other things, this will make it possible to build a factory in Ukraine for the production and maintenance of the famous Bayraktar drones", the head of the Ukrainian government noted.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the government is constantly strengthening cooperation with international partners in security matters. In particular, he thanked the European Union for the decision to allocate the fifth tranche of EUR 500 million to provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons.

"This is another important decision that allows us to change the parity in all types of weapons in favor of our army on the battlefield", Denys Shmyhal noted. 

In addition, during the meeting, the Government approved the attraction of another grant from the United States in the amount of USD 4.5 billion. The funds, according to him, will come through the Trust Fund created by the World Bank.
