Ukraine's Armed Forces de-occupy over 2,400 sq. km in Kherson region
Since February 24, Ukraine's Armed Forces have liberated over 2,400 square kilometers in the Kherson region, 61 settlements have been de-occupied in the Beryslav district, and 6 in the Kherson district.
Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported about this.
"As of today, since the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have de-occupied more than 2,400 square kilometers of Ukrainian land," Tymoshenko said.
The deputy head of the President's Office said that 6 settlements were deoccupied in the Kherson district, and 61 in the Beryslav district: "In the same district, destabilization measures were carried out in 19 settlements. The population is also being evacuated."
Part of the critical infrastructure in Arkhanhelsk, Vysokopillya, and Osokorivka will be impossible to restore.
"Transformers are being restored in the villages of Novovorontsovka and Vysokopillya. In the villages of Zolota Balka and Havrylivka, Beryslav district, work has been carried out to restore mobile coverage," Tymoshenko added.
Network coverage will also be restored in the settlements of Novooleksandrivka and Davydiv Brid in the near future.
"Since these places have only been de-occupied due to constant threats arising as a result of hostilities, the maximum return of state authorities remains extremely difficult. Despite this, humanitarian aid is delivered to the liberated settlements, and drinking water is delivered," the deputy head of the President's Office said.
In addition, 107 war crimes were recorded in the Kherson region, and the demining of territories is underway.
