Ukraine's special forces detain Wagnerites in Sudan
Ukrainian Defence Intelligence (HUR) members interrogated mercenaries of the Wagner PMC in Sudan
This was reported by KyivPost, citing its own sources.
The publication posted a video of fighters of the Tymur special unit inspecting a military vehicle with the bodies of dead Russian mercenaries. The vehicle has signs of shelling.
The video also shows one of the Intelligence soldiers interrogating the mercenary. The captive confessed that he was part of a group of mercenaries from the Wagner PMC. Their task was to overthrow the government there.
In addition to him, Ukrainian special forces captured two African prisoners, who were probably also members of Wagner's PMC and recruited the local population.

In late January, Bloomberg reported that to expand its influence in Africa, Russia plans to create a mercenary army of 20,000 people to replace Wagner's men.
