Russian troops conduct searches at newly established checkpoints in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, inspecting local residents for patriotic tattoos
Andriy Kovalov, the spokesperson for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported the information.
"Due to the prevailing sense of panic and intimidation among the occupiers, the Russian invaders are increasing their so-called counterintelligence measures," the spokesperson emphasized.
Kovalov said that the Russian army has set up additional checkpoints in the village of Kairy in the temporarily occupied Kherson region.
They are checking not only documents, phones and cars, but also conducting body searches of Ukrainians, "Regardless of age and gender. Yes, the occupiers are looking for Ukrainian patriotic tattoos."
