Russian occupiers mine building of police headquarters in Kherson region
Before fleeing, the Russian occupiers mined the building of the Main Police Directorate of the Kherson Region, Ukrainian bomb experts were forced to blow it up
The head of the National Police, Ihor Klymenko, announced this on Facebook.
"It used to be one of the buildings of the Main Police Directorate of the Kherson region. Today, it has become a pile of stones. The Russian occupiers disguised explosives inside the premises. It was impossible to avoid an explosion. Thanks to the ingenuity and skill of our explosives technicians, no one was hurt. This is the most important thing. And we will rebuild the walls," he wrote and showed the video.
According to Klymenko, since the beginning of the de-occupation, police sappers have examined more than 400 hectares of the liberated territories of the Kherson region and defused more than 4,000 explosive items.
The chief policeman of Ukraine once again called on the residents of the newly liberated territories not to rush to return home.
