Zelenskyy wanted: Putin does not want negotiations
Russia has been assuring the whole world that it wants negotiations with Ukraine. Now it has declared President Zelenskyy wanted
This response challenges those who believed that “Putin's situation was difficult” and that he “would soon step down”. Well. He won’t. It underscores that negotiations are only acceptable to Russia under the condition of Ukraine's capitulation.
The Russian-Ukrainian conflict extends beyond Ukraine, it is obvious now.
Russia plans to escalate pressure on the frontlines ahead of the US elections, potentially influencing the election's outcome. Additionally, Russia intends to interfere in the elections through various means, including agents of influence, cyberattacks, and by creating additional areas of tension, such as in the Balkans.
Moscow may well be hoping for a showdown between Trump and Biden supporters after the US elections. The Kremlin seems prepared to invest heavily in such a scenario.
Year 2024 will be a turning point in our war. Now all depends on how our Western allies decide to act. They could either confront Russia and nullify its global ambitions, or succumb to fear and shame, as seen in Afghanistan.
The sluggish pace of decision-making and weapon transfers to Ukraine is concerning in this context. While Putin is moving quickly, many Western leaders seem to lack the will and determination to match his actions, despite their promising speeches.
There will be many promising speeches at the Peace Summit in Switzerland. Everyone will be there, both those who genuinely support Ukraine and those who do not. It'll be like a well-organized focus group, serving as an alternative platform to the UN. However, after filtering out these sentiments, we'll have to work even harder to convince the world that the current trickle of aid is leading to Ukraine's defeat, which would be a significant geopolitical shame for the USA, Britain, Germany, France...
Hence, it's crucial to put an end to Putin and his collective unconscious. This requires a realistic and well-developed plan.
Back in 1943, during the Tehran Conference, the Soviet Union, Britain, and the United States were already planning for Germany's future after its fall.
We need Switzerland to serve as a model for a similar gathering, where only the right conclusions are drawn, and the correct strategy is applied.
