Russian air defense is powerless against Ukrainian drones

Russian army complains about ineffectiveness of air defense systems against Ukrainian drones. The Atesh guerrilla movement reported that Russian soldiers complain about the malfunctioning and ineffectiveness of air defense systems against Ukrainian drones.

"Apparently, this equipment was taken from old stocks, and the missiles for this anti-aircraft missile system deteriorated during storage in warehouses. Most often, they simply cannot hit the target, even if it is detected," the report says.

In addition, most of the operational air defense systems were sent to the front, while faulty or worn-out ones remained in the rear cities. According to the military, 65-80% of all Russian anti-aircraft missile systems are malfunctioning. At the same time, most operators have not received proper training, and trained specialists are dying in the war in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 5 ammunition depots and three enemy positions

Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to target Russian enemy in all directions.

This was reported by the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk.

Over the last day, the soldiers of the 66th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave targeted 5 Russian ammunition depots and 3 enemy positions.

"The 66th Mechanized Brigade continues to hold back the invasion in the East. The brigade's units took part in the defense of Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Krasnohorivka. In 2022, they liberated Lyman, Shchurove, Nevske and other settlements during the counter-offensive in Kharkiv region. Today, they are actively working on the Lyman direction," Pavliuk said.

Russian personnel have to move on foot due to logistical problems

"Not only are the personnel of the Russian army being eliminated by the Defense Forces, but also the technical support of the occupation forces is running out," the National Resistance Centre notes.

"The enemy army is experiencing huge logistical inconveniences. Due to the lack of vehicles, personnel have to move on foot. Whether it is to their positions or, for example, to send a vacation report for processing," the Centre notes.

However, such reports, even if they reach the command, end up in the trash

"Due to the critical shortage of enemy manpower, the occupying Russian troops cannot even dream of taking a vacation," the National Resistance Centre added.

New aid package from Finland

Finland will provide Ukraine with a package of defense equipment worth €188 million. This was announced by President of Finland Alexander Stubb on social media platform X. He stressed that Ukraine can count on his country's commitment to its security.

"Today I signed a ten-year agreement on security cooperation and long-term support between Finland and Ukraine. I have also announced that Finland will supply Ukraine with its 23rd package of defense equipment worth €188 million. Ukraine can count on Finland's commitment to its security and prosperity now and in the long term," Stubb wrote.

Also, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said before the meeting with her colleagues from NATO member states in Brussels that her country allocates 0.25% of GDP to help Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrinform.

"This is still being discussed. Currently, we are allocating 0.25% of our GDP to help Ukraine, and we are at least in the top ten," Valtonen said, answering a question about the percentage that Finland is ready to provide as a contribution to the five-year NATO fund to support Ukraine.
