US aid slowdown will be compensated by EU assistance - military expert Zgurets
Defense Express CEO and military expert Serhiy Zgurets believes that the next few months will be accompanied by Ukraine’s active defense
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Indeed, everyone recognizes that it is the restrictions on the supply of certain weapons and American assistance that have led the Armed Forces to start saving ammunition. The Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot fully rely on the indicators we need to conduct effective defense and offensive actions," explained Zgurets.
According to the military expert, the next few months will be accompanied by active defense on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"That is, holding the enemy back, building fortifications, preparing reserves, relying on our own capabilities and on the help of European partners. We see that the amount of aid from Britain, Germany, and France is increasing. Thus, the first half of the year, while the United States is slowing down its assistance, will be compensated by help from European countries," Zgurets emphasized.
