Presidential office tells what conditions to end war Ukraine will never agree to
Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the presidential office, said that there is no plan to end the war that would provide for a freeze in the conflict or territorial concessions
He said this on the air of the TV channel ‘Current Time’.
‘The president has repeatedly said this, this is the prevailing position: no freezing of the conflict, because it will not lead to the end of the war as such, but will only give Russia the opportunity to accumulate additional resources and continue the third stage of mass killings of civilians in Ukraine. Therefore, of course, there are no concepts of ceding territories, no concepts of freezing the conflict,’ Podolyak said.
The advisor to the head of the presidential office stressed that Kyiv's official position is only one: the war must end with Russia's defeat. This requires military, diplomatic, economic and political coercion.
According to Podolyak, the Kursk operation is part of President Zelenskyy's ‘victory plan’.
‘This will significantly affect the social mood, firstly, in Russia. Secondly, it will put significant pressure on Putin's entourage and lead to the end of this war,’ he explained.
- Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia would be invited to the second Peace Summit, which is due to take place in November.
- He also noted that his ‘victory plan’ contains four main points and one additional point that Ukraine will need after the war.
