UK to fund Ukraine’s production of air defense systems, long-range weapons
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov arrived in the United Kingdom for an official visit and met with Defense Secretary John Healey
Umerov announced this on Facebook.
According to him, the main topic of the talks was the alignment of plans for bilateral cooperation in 2025 across key security areas.
The Ukrainian Defense Minister stated that the UK reaffirmed its commitment to providing continuous and comprehensive support to strengthen Ukraine’s position both on the battlefield and on the international stage. Increased military, political, and economic assistance from British allies is expected this year.
“Special attention was given to the development of Ukraine’s defense industry. The UK has already invested in the production of our weapons, and this cooperation continues.
