No relief for Pokrovsk sector amid Kursk region operation - Ukraine's 110th Brigade
Ivan Siekach, head of the 110th Brigade's public relations service, says that the Russian army doesn't want to lose the initiative in the Pokrovsk sector, so it is constantly conducting assault operations
He spoke about this on Espreso TV.
"There's been no easing of the situation in Kursk. The Russians are determined to maintain their initiative on this front, so their assaults continue in large numbers. The invaders use small group tactics, which consume more ammunition, as targeting two moving individuals with artillery is very difficult. FPV drones also struggle to hit them as they hide in the woods. As a result, there's a higher expenditure of shells to eliminate the enemy," explained Ivan Siekach.
According to him, there are munitions available, but more are needed as the enemy changes its tactics and adapts to the situation.
"There was information, and even the guys confirmed it to me, that one drone operator unit of the enemy was sent to Kursk. However, this did not make things easier, especially with enemy FPVs," noted the head of public relations for the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General Mark Bezruchko.
- Since the beginning of the day, 75 combat engagements have taken place at the front, with almost a third of all attacks concentrated in the Pokrovsk sector.
