Germany allocates new aid package for Ukraine: what it includes
The German Defense Ministry has provided Ukraine with a new military aid package, including RCH 155 howitzers, drones, and ammunition for LEOPARD 1 tanks

The German Defense Ministry announced this.
Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Germany has provided Ukraine with materials from the Bundeswehr's stockpiles, with an estimated replacement cost of around €5.2 billion.
Additionally, more than 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have undergone military training in Germany, with training costs amounting to approximately €282 million.
The new aid package includes:
- 18 wheeled self-propelled howitzers RCH 155
- 5 Marder infantry fighting vehicles
- 9 AITO30 FDC (wheeled infantry fighting vehicle RCT-30 with a mobile fire control center)
- 20 MRAP armored vehicles with mine protection
- Ammunition for the Leopard 1 main battle tank
- 14,000 155mm shells
- 19,000 122mm cartridges
- 11,000 120mm mortar rounds
- 495 HK 416 assault rifles
- 600 HF-1 strike UAVs
- 50 VECTOR UAVs with spare parts
- 46 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones
- 43 SONGBIRD reconnaissance drones
- 277 mine-resistant vehicles (MRAP)
Earlier, Germany’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius handed over the first of 54 new RCH 155 wheeled howitzers to Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksii Makeiev.
