Russian publication Astra reported the information.
As noted, on January 2, an FAB bomb fell from a Russian aircraft in the village of Sergeyevka, Kursk region. The aerial bomb did not explode, leaving a crater at the site.
According to local residents, the house on Central Street, into whose yard the bomb fell, is inhabited by a police major.
Reportedly, there were no injuries.
Astra added that they have information about at least 165 cases of FAB bombs falling in Russia and in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine during 2024, and 4 cases in 2025.
- In November 2024, a Russian FAB-500 fell near a residential building in the temporarily occupied city of Almazna, Luhansk region. The occupiers evacuated more than 50 residents.
