Ukrainian parliament extends martial law, general mobilization until May 9
On Wednesday, January 15, the Ukrainian parliament voted to extend martial law in Ukraine and to continue general mobilization

"The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament - Ed.) voted on Bill No. 12404 to extend martial law in Ukraine," Zhelezniak wrote.
The decision was supported by 315 MPs.
According to the bill On Extending Martial Law in Ukraine, martial law is to be extended across the entire territory of Ukraine for 90 days, from February 8 to May 9, 2025.
The Ukrainian parliament also voted in favor of law No. 12405 on the next extension of general mobilization. The decision was supported by 310 MPs. General mobilization was also extended until May 9.
The Verkhovna Rada has extended martial law and general mobilization for the 14th time. The approved bills now await President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's signature.
