This is stated on the page in X of the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Sergiy Kyslytsya.

Kyslytsya said that Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Security Council Vasily Nebenzya is not a legitimate chairman of the Security Council.

"Citizen Nebenzia, you are not a legitimate president of the Security Council, and I will never address you as one. You are sitting on the seat that Russia invaded illegally, and the only proper seat for you before you end up in hell bypassing purgatory is in the dock," Kyslytsya wrote.

At the same time, during the Security Council, Russia was criticized for its "system of attacks" on Ukrainian medical institutions.

In particular, the French Permanent Representative to the UN stressed that Russia "has deliberately targeted residential neighborhoods and healthcare infrastructure"

At the same time, China said that Kyiv and Moscow should "show political will, meet each other halfway and start peace talks at an early date". The country also assured that it would "continue to actively promote peace talks".

At the same time, Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters at a briefing that Russia "does not strike civilian targets".

Earlier, UN Secretary-General António Guterres called the latest Russian strikes on Ukraine "particularly shocking".

"The strikes have caused serious damage to the intensive care, surgery, and oncology wards of Okhmatdyt, which is the largest children's hospital in Ukraine," said UN Human Rights chief Volker Türk, adding that such actions by the Russians are "appalling".

  • On the morning of Monday, July 8, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. The Russian missiles hit the Kyiv region, Kryvyi Rih, Pokrovsk, Dnipro and Kyiv, causing deaths and injuries.

  • On the morning of Monday, July 8, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with missiles

  • On 8 July, Russians targeted the toxicology department of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, where patients were receiving dialysis. It was established that Russia attacked the building with a Kh-101 missile.
