Ukraine receives $1.1 billion from IMF
Ukraine's accounts have received the sixth tranche of $1.1 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF)

Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated this.
"Ukraine has received $1.1 billion from the IMF. This is the sixth tranche under the joint program under the EFF Extended Fund Facility," he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the funds have already been transferred to Ukrainian accounts. They will be used to finance critical budget expenditures.
In total, Ukraine has already received $9.8 billion from the IMF under this program, Shmyhal added.
"We are grateful to the International Monetary Fund for its unwavering support of our country throughout the full-scale war," he summarized.
- The International Monetary Fund has developed two scenarios for the development of Ukraine's economy, depending on how long the war will last. According to the most critical forecast, the war will last until mid-2026.
