NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte considers President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's criticism of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz unjustified and unfair

He said this in an interview with the German media, ntv reports.
"I've often told Zelenskyy to stop criticizing Olaf Scholz because I think it's unfair. What Scholz has done for Ukraine is impressive. He helped ensure that Germany was second only to the United States in military support for Ukraine. This is a merit for which Kyiv can also be grateful," Rutte said.
At the same time, the NATO Secretary General made it clear that he would supply Ukraine with Taurus missiles, unlike Scholz, and would not impose any restrictions on the use of weapons.
"In general, we know that such opportunities are very important for Ukraine," he added.
- On November 15, the German government's press service reported that Scholz and Putin had held their first talks in two years. The German Chancellor called on the Russian leader to withdraw his troops from Ukraine. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's call to Vladimir Putin. In his opinion, such conversations are meaningless.
- On December 14, during a meeting of the SPD party in Potsdam, Olaf Scholz expressed support for Ukraine and called for a peaceful resolution of the war, but said he was not ready to supply the Taurus.
