Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih kills at least 10 civilians, wounds 47
On the morning of July 8, Kryvyi Rih came under a massive Russian missile attack. The attack killed 10 people and injured about 50 others
Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the city's defense council, reported the information.
As a result of the missile attack, several hits were recorded at the site, including the administrative building of an industrial enterprise.
"The monsters launched a massive missile attack on our city. The air defense system was working, but there were several hits, including on the administrative building of PJSC Northern Mining and Processing Plant. The "high-precision" bastards killed 10 residents of Kryvyi Rih, including 5 women and 5 men (one woman, who was previously thought to be dead, is alive and well and has been taken to hospital, thank God). My condolences to the families and friends of the victims," he wrote in the evening.
Vilkul assured that all the families of the victims would receive assistance from the city for burial. July 9 was declared a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih.
As a result of the attack, 47 residents of the city were injured, including 22 women and 25 men. Currently, 29 people are hospitalized, 10 of them in critical condition.
"There are no soldiers among the dead or wounded - all of them are civilians," Vilkul emphasized.
He also noted that more casualties as a result of the morning attack were avoided due to the fact that about 100 workers were in the shelter during the alarm. Vilkul urged the citizens not to ignore the air raid sirens.
