Ukrainian Defense Forces deny encirclement in Makarivka, Donetsk region
The Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping refuted reports of Ukrainian troops being encircled in Makarivka in the Vremivka sector of Donetsk region

This was reported by the press service of the Khortytsia operational-strategic military grouping.
"The information about the encirclement of Ukrainian Defense Forces units in Makarivka on the Vremivka front, which has been circulated by the media, is not true," the military stated.
They emphasized that unverified information and incorrect conclusions are the result of analyses conducted by "individual observers and independent expert sources whose data do not correspond to the dynamics of combat operations."
"Ukrainian Defense Forces units continue to destroy overwhelming enemy forces to slow down and halt their offensive actions," stressed the Khortytsia troop grouping.
- On December 14, the DeepState project reported that Ukrainian soldiers holding positions in Makarivka, Donetsk region, risk being encircled.
