Russian troops coerce votes for Putin in Luhansk region – head of military administration Lysohor
Artem Lysohor, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, described how sham elections are conducted in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Today marks the conclusion of early elections in the occupied areas of the Luhansk region. Yesterday, reports surfaced indicating that in Preobrazhenne and Troitske, two women accompanied by five armed individuals were going door-to-door, collecting votes. This display of "expression of will" is formidable. The presence of five masked individuals armed with machine guns escorting just two voters to every household is very formidable indeed," noted Lysohor.
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration stated that single-candidate elections without any observers are unacceptable.
"In Rubizhne, they went as far as entering yards, using megaphones from cars to call upon people to come out and vote, before proceeding to visit each household. The outcomes of these elections will likely reflect the decisions of the pseudo-election commissions present there. It's clear to us, as well as to all European countries, that single-candidate elections without any observers are no real elections," emphasized Lysohor.
