Russia saturates Vremivka sector with new troops - official
Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, noted that the Russian army is building up forces for a new offensive in Zaporizhzhia region
He told about this on Espreso TV.
‘The last thing we recorded was the transfer of a large enemy column of 20 trucks, meaning there were at least 500 people. However, it was not the only convoy and not the only day when this happened. For two weeks before that, we had been observing that the Russians were saturating the Vremivka direction with their new units coming from the territory of the Russian Federation,’ said Petro Andriushchenko.
According to him, the same thing was seen when the enemy's offensive on Vuhledar began.
‘Now we see that it continues on the territory of Rozivka and Polohy districts of Zaporizhzhia region. Therefore, we expect that sooner or later we will see a new offensive operation or such attempts in Zaporizhzhia. It is not a certainty that this operation will start, because before the operation on Vuhledar began, the Russians had repeatedly tried to take the town. And we had to withdraw the reserves we had for Vuhledar, for example, when our Kursk operation started. Let's hope that our Defense Forces know how to disperse these units,’ commented the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.
Andriushchenko added that in the Mariupol-Berdiansk agglomeration, the occupying Russian forces have also recently been filling their training camps, where the growth of the Russian military has been recorded.
- On October 14, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported a large-scale movement of Russian troops through the city.
