Putin goes all-in with nuclear gamble
From "taking Kyiv in 3 days" to rewriting nuclear policy just to keep Kyiv at bay with missiles — it's been a surprisingly short journey...
Putin is pushing the limits, raising the stakes to scare Biden with a new Cuban Missile Crisis just in time for U.S. elections.
Meanwhile, he hands Trump, Musk, and the gang a golden ticket to drum up fear of nuclear war, spooking Americans who didn’t even flinch when warned the Haitians would "eat their cat."
Fear, after all, is the favorite tool of Putin and his loyal crew.
On one hand, it's satisfying to see Putin forced to play all his cards. Going all-in never screams strength or confidence. What it really signals is how terrified Putin and his circle are of Ukraine's enhanced military abilities to strike key Russian targets — especially those within 300 km. And he's doing everything he can to stop it.
On the other hand, the bluff might just work. With elections a month away, U.S. officials are unlikely to risk even the faintest chance of a nuclear standoff. Such a crisis could flip the script on what seemed like a sure win against Trump’s threat.
The last thing the White House needs right now is news that Russia has kicked off nuclear testing — a potential precursor to something far worse.
