Partisans expose Russian armored vehicle hiding spots in occupied Crimea
Agents of the Atesh guerrilla movement, created by Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, have discovered that Russian forces are hiding armored vehicles in abandoned military bases in Yevpatoria in occupied Crimea
According to Atesh, the movement's agents were monitoring equipment storage areas in Novoozerne when they noticed Russian activity at the previously deserted military base, Horodok-7. This base had been abandoned since Russia occupied Crimea.
"Fearing attacks from Ukrainian forces, the Russians are dispersing their equipment, including in abandoned military units. Our agents spotted a large number of camouflaged armored vehicles, such as armored personnel carriers and KamAZ trucks, at this site. Additionally, the Russians are spreading out equipment from nearby warehouses and setting up heated tents for their troops," the statement said.
Atesh also reported that the Russians have placed old military equipment in visible locations along roads and in fields to confuse Ukrainian forces.
- The destruction of the oil depot in Feodosia led to a serious shortage of fuel for the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Atesh guerrillas record active movements of military fuel trucks, which are forced to constantly change their location.
