Ukraine's F-16s equipped with early warning systems for missile attacks
F-16 fighter jets received by Ukraine are equipped with Terma PIDS+ pylons with missile attack early warning system

Militarnyi portal reported the information after identifying it from a video posted on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's official channel.
The corresponding system, developed and manufactured by Terma, has been used by fighters from all member states of the European Air Force.
For instance, in 2018, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and Belgium ordered Terma PIDS+ pylons with the Hensoldt AAR-60(V)2 (MWS) missile warning system for their F-16s.
All of these countries announced the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine.
- The first F-16 fighter jets from NATO allies has arrived in Ukraine. The number of jets is small.
- On August 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the first F-16 fighter jets had arrived in Ukraine.
