Explosions at Russian ammo warehouses could impact naval operations in the Black and Azov Seas – Ukrainian Navy
Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesperson for Ukraine's Navy, believes that the destruction of Russian ammunition depots will influence the course of military operations both on land and at sea
He said this on Espreso TV.
“I expect the destruction of ammunition depots on Russian territory to impact their naval operations in the Black and Azov seas. It’s bound to disrupt their actions. When rear supply lines, especially logistical hubs, are targeted, it inevitably affects front-line battles. The Russians don’t have unlimited resources. Sure, they won’t immediately run out of ammunition, but that day is coming,” Pletenchuk explained.
He further noted that while Russia is trying to maintain the intensity of its attacks on Ukraine, their stockpile of missiles and drones is not endless.
“Yes, they can scramble to replenish their ammo, missiles, and drones, and we’ve seen plenty of drones flying over our territory this month. But these resources aren’t bottomless. So, whether immediately or soon, I believe that the explosions at their warehouses will have a significant effect on their operations on the battlefield and at sea,” he added.
