Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi reported this.
"In occupied Donetsk, a missile targeted the gathering place of the DPR militants, who had come together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Donetsk People's Republic proclamation," the report said.
Instead, the propaganda outlet RIA Novosti reported that the attack was allegedly carried out with Himars MLRS at the Paradise restaurant in the Leninsky district of the city. In addition, a car rally was planned there to mark the anniversary of the pseudo-referendum.
The so-called mayor of occupied Donetsk, Alexey Kulemzin, did not comment on the situation, but wrote a message: "It’s loud in Donetsk!"
Later, Russian RIA Novosti reported that one person was killed and 4 injured as a result of the attack on the restaurant.
As of 3 p.m., the death toll increased to 3 - a restaurant employee and two visitors. At least 8 people were also injured, said the head of the so-called DPR Denis Pushilin.
According to him, one of the missiles hit the restaurant, and the other hit an unfinished building.
