Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported the attack on the Bryansk region.

Bogomaz reported the alleged massive drone attack at 12:22 a.m. He noted that Russian air defense was allegedly working “to identify and destroy air targets.”

Almost an hour later, the governor of the Bryansk region announced the alleged destruction of 21 drones. According to him, there were no casualties or damage. At the same time, he informed that operational and emergency services were working.

Later, Bogomaz said that Russian air defense forces intercepted or destroyed 59 drones in the region. The attack caused no damage or casualties.

Attack in Moscow and the Moscow region

At 2:32 a.m., Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that Russian air defense allegedly shot down a drone flying toward Moscow in the city district of Lyubertsy.

“According to preliminary data, there is no damage or casualties at the site of the crash. Emergency services are working at the scene,” he wrote.

Shortly afterward, Sobyanin also reported the alleged downing of three UAVs in the Ramensky urban district, four in the Podolsk urban district, and two in the Domodedovo urban district. According to him, all the drones were flying toward Moscow.

In addition, photos and videos of damaged buildings in the Moscow region are being shared online. There are also alleged victims.

Airport operations

As a result of the drone attack, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports have suspended their operations.

Over 30 international and domestic flights were delayed at Vnukovo airport amid the repulsion of a drone attack on Moscow, and six of them were canceled. Among the arriving flights at Vnukovo, 13 were delayed and 2 were canceled during the same time period.

At Domodedovo, according to the online board, about 10 flights were delayed for arrival and the same number for departure. At Zhukovsky, at least three departing flights and two arriving flights were delayed. At Sheremetyevo, there are few delays in departure and arrival.

Attack on the Tula region

Local authorities in the region claim that the air defense forces destroyed two drones, but the wreckage of the UAVs fell on the territory of one of the fuel and energy complex facilities.

As a result, no people were injured and the technological process of the affected facility was not disrupted.

Russian air defense operation

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense forces destroyed or intercepted 144 drones. In particular, 72 drones were allegedly eliminated over Bryansk region, 20 over Moscow region, 14 over Kursk region, 13 over Tula region, 8 over Belgorod region, 7 over Kaluga region, 5 over Voronezh region, 4 over Lipetsk region, and 1 over Oryol region.
