Russia reduces number of assaults with support of armoured vehicles in Bakhmut sector due to weather
Oleksandr Borodin, press officer with the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, says that Russian forces began to use less heavy armoured vehicles for assault operations in the Bakhmut direction
He said this on the Espreso TV channel
"The occupiers carry out all assault operations in the Bakhmut sector with the support of a large number of personnel. In general, invading Russian forces are trying to put pressure on our positions with infantry units. Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, Russian forces started using less heavy armoured vehicles. They use tanks from closed firing positions. Therefore, armoured vehicles are not the main problem. Rather, the number and massiveness of Russian infantry offensives is a problem rather than the use of armoured vehicles," Borodin explained.
The 3rd Brigade's spokesman stressed that the Russia continues to conduct assault operations with the help of aviation and artillery
"As long as there are difficult weather conditions, I think there will be no fundamental change in their attacks. That is, in winter, they are unlikely to actively use equipment for assault operations. Russian occupiers will continue to conduct assault operations with the support of aviation, artillery and drones," he added.
