Ukrainian army destroys 4 Russian tanks, 8 artillery systems and 930 troops per day — General Staff

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to December 3, 2023 are estimated to be:

According to the General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations in Synkivka, northeast of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka in Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region. The Ukrainian defense repelled 7 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the occupying Russian forces conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region. Ukrainian troops repelled 4 attacks.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian troops conducted assault operations in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 attacks. 

Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating the achieved positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, the invading Russian forces, supported by the air force, tried to surround Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers held the line, inflicting significant losses on the Russians. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sievierne, south of Tonenke and Pervomaiske in Donetsk region were unsuccessful. The Ukrainian defense repelled 25 attacks.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repelled 11 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful assault operations in southeast Vuhledar, west of Staromayorsk, Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repelled 3 attacks.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy tried 12 times to regain lost ground in the areas south of Robotyne, west and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continued to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, Ukraine's army continued to hold its positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, carry out counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy's rear.

In addition, the enemy launched 3 missile attacks and fired 53 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

At night, the Russian troops attacked Ukraine once again, using a Kh-59 guided missile and 12 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 10 attack UAVs.

Air strikes hit various locations: Kozacha Lopan, Petropavlivka in Kharkiv region; Shcherbynivka, Avdiivka, Pobieda in Donetsk region.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Over the past day, Ukrainian missile forces struck 2 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command center, 3 ammunition depots and 4 enemy artillery pieces.

Also, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile yesterday.

• On the evening of Saturday, December 2, Russian terrorists launched Shaheds from the south. The missile threat was announced in several regions.
