Russian leadership pushes troops into hectic assaults in Kupyansk sector
Yuriy Fedorenko, Commander of the ACHILLES strike UAV Battalion of Ukraine's 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, highlighted that the Russian army was unable to fulfill their objective of reaching Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi by November 1
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The situation in the Kupyansk area is difficult due to Russia's numbers. The Russians failed to complete their task by November 1 - to reach Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi and secure it. As a result, the leadership of the occupying Russian forces is now constantly pushing Russian occupiers to achieve results on the battlefield in a kamikaze mode," said Fedorenko.
According to the commander of the ACHILLES strike UAV Battalion, Russian forces are conducting assault operations both day and night, moving in small groups and trying to use highly maneuverable vehicles, occasionally deploying armored vehicles. However, over this week, they have not achieved success on the battlefield.
The commander of the ACHILLES strike UAV Battalion also added that, regardless of the weather or time of day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to effectively carry out combat tasks.
"Speaking about the area of Hlyboke, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to maintain momentum and initiative on their side, detecting Russian troops promptly, destroying them, and preventing the enemy from assaulting our positions. Over the past week, the Russian army has had no tactical success on the battlefield, losing a significant amount of personnel and equipment," emphasized Fedorenko.
- Since the start of Thursday, November 21, there have been 190 combat clashes on the front lines. In the Pokrovsk area, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the highest number of Russian attacks, with 48 recorded.
- Kharkiv City Council member Artem Revchuk observes that Russia continues to probe for weaknesses in Ukraine's defense and remains committed to its plans to seize Kharkiv.
