Russia prohibits teaching children under Ukrainian curriculum in Kakhovka area and threatens to take them to Russia - AFU General Staff
In the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, in the Kakhovka district, Russian authorities are forbidding children to study online under the Ukrainian program and threatening to forcibly take them to Crimea and Russia for "studying"
This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on January 30.
"Local teachers refuse to teach children according to the Russian program, so the Russian occupiers threaten to forcibly take children for so-called "studying" deep into the temporarily occupied Kherson region, as well as to Russia and the occupied Crimea," the statement said.
In the village of Tavriiske, Kherson region, Russian forces have set up a "field hospital" in the premises of a kindergarten to treat Russian soldiers. The "hospital" is known to be overcrowded with seriously injured soldiers.

The situation in other areas is as follows:
Kupiansk direction: 2 settlements in the Kharkiv region and 3 in the Luhansk region were hit by Russian fire.
Lyman direction: 4 settlements in the Luhansk region and 2 others in the Donetsk region were attacked.
Bakhmut direction: 12 settlements in the Donetsk region came under fire.
Avdiivka direction: 3 settlements came under Russian tank, mortar and artillery fire.
Vuhledar direction: Vuhledar and 3 other settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled.
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: Russian artillery fire hit over 40 settlements in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions. There are civilian casualties.
Colonel Yevhen Yerin, head of the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces, said that no combat engagements or preparations for offensive actions have been observed in the Zaporizhzhia sector, with Russian troops focusing its main efforts on Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
